According to Arsenal.com, Arsenal are set to leave social media by 3pm.
This was made know on Friday on their official website on Friday afternoon.
They wrote:“Arsenal joins social media boycott at 3pm

As announced on Saturday, we’re joining The FA, Premier League, EFL, FA Women’s Super League, FA Women’s Championship, PFA, LMA, PGMOL, Kick It Out, Women in Football and the FSA for a social media boycott from 3pm (UK time) on Friday, April 30 to 11.59pm on Monday, May 3.”
Arsenal are one of other clubs who have decried the abuse they and their young players receive on a daily basis and they have termed it as alarming and unbecoming.
Arsenal legend, who was the key player of the invincibles and who also have just been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame Thierry Henry also decried same Online abuse.
The French man announced has reportedly closed down all his social media accounts till further notice due to online abuse.
The fans also on their own accord have vowed to stop the abuse once Arsenal goes back to winning ways again.
One would wonder what the next step of action would be for online users who abuse…
With this announcement by Arsenal, it means they’ll not be online to post necessary information as regarding their upcoming match against Newcastle.
