Arsenal are ready to continue their pre-season matches as they take on Rangers in their Scotland tour.
The Gunners kick-started their pre-season games with a loss to home side Hibernian on Tuesday in a match that ended 2 goals to 1 in favour of the home team.
The first pre-season game which was against Hibernian came alive with some youngsters making their debut for the north London club.
In the goal was the just promoted Arthur Okonkwo who has just been handed a long-term contract by the Emirates outfit. He was not in his best form as his mistake led to the first goal.
Nicolas Pepe we still in his best form of last season though he missed a crucial penalty that would’ve leveled the Gunners but he was good on the day.
Joe Willock on the other hand missed the game against Hibernian due to injury but Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta assured the 21-year old forward was in his plans for the season. Hopefully the youngster will be back to his feet and kicking.
This notwithstanding, Arsenal are set to take on Rangers in order to bring their Scotland tour to an end. The match is slated to hold on
Saturday, July 17 at the Ibrox Stadium by 2pm GMT.
Possible line up of the match
Despite Okonkwo’s mistake, Mikel Arteta is set to give him another chance in the net. And the young star is set to impress Arteta.
